Difference between stock & TA cover

What is the difference between the stock rearend cover and the TA rearend cover?.....

The TA cover is much heavier (stronger) and made of aluminum. It also has 2 bolts that are screwed in until they contact the main caps (that support the bearings in the rear end) to support the bearing caps and reduce ring gear wear due to "cap deflection". Not a bad upgrade for durability. However, if you are launching on slicks at 6000, don't bother....just buy the 12 bolt....the TA cover helps, but it is not a "miracle cure". Just my thoughts.

By "TA cover" do you mean Trans-Am cover or some aftermarket company?

see what a smart guy thats the only time ive heard a someone actually explain the usefulness of that mod. most just call it crap and move on. now that u said that it makes me wanna buy one
