We have found the Motive Performance Gear to be a great gear. We install them in our shop all the time and have no problems. They give a good pattern and run quite.

Mine were set up professionally, but do have some whine. I got a great deal, and I am happy. The whine doesn't bother me.

I have Motive 4.10's on my truck. I had them professionally installed and set up. They are as silent as stock.

How is your traction with the new gears? I am assuming you are an auomatic to be putting the 3.73's in.

with just gears, and a lid, 1st gets a bit slippery on the street. When it shifts to 2nd, I feel the tires slide a little until it hooks, then goes! Pretty fun for just 2 mods, but of course it needs more

I installed motive 3.90's in my SS about a week and a half ago. Just finished breaking them in, I absolutely love them, their quiet it give a nice kick in the ***. I actually have GM 3.73's in my LT1 Z and their loud at all speeds unlike my motive 3.90s

what rpm are u at 80mph in 6th with the 3.90

Had Motive 3.90's in my 10 bolt. I now have Motive 4.30's in my 9" for one reason Quiet.

In my 10 bolt with 3.90's and 295/35/18 rear wheels, At 75 MPH in 6th I was at 1850-1900 RPM.

With my new 9" and 4.30's I am at 2100-2150 @ 75 mph

i have got an 02 t/a m6 and i had 4.10s put in. they are quite and a good deal. in sixth gear turnin 2k rpms im running 75 mph. with the stock 3.42s i was runnin 90mph at the same rpms just to give you an idea. good luck!
