Was searching for a picture and came across this and what a flashback to still current customers and this was the old shop location. In short six years our growth has been amazing and we would like to thank all our devoted customers.

To show some appreciation we are going to run a 10% sale on our standard lower control arms and weld on relocation brackets.

He should! He does pretty good in the beer can of a foxbody! Healthy little NA 370 in it. Needs a plate on it!

I'm sorry you are seeing some codes lets see if we can walk through these codes some.

C0046 ………….. Left Rear Wheel Speed Circuit Range/Performance
With this the common issue is the sensor itself isn't sitting into the hole properly. You need to shave one side to make sure it isn't at an angle. Another issue is the reluctor wheel may of been bumped after assembly and not spinning 100% true. Easy fix with a screw driver, go around it and make sure it is spinning true.

C0051 …………. Right Rear Wheel Speed Circuit Range/Performance
Same as the above.

C0245 ……………………… Wheel Speed Sensor Frequency Error
This may happen when unplugging the harness and the wires with age become brittle and you may have harmed the harness. With that said it could lead to the other codes. However I have never seen this code come up but have seen the sensor codes if the sensor isn't clearanced if need be or reluctor wheel not spinning true.

Lastly check sensor gap and get back to me.

Kevin,
I talked to you a while ago about this, but never really got a definite answer on what to do and now that the car is running id like to figure it out. I'd like to add 3 channel abs to my 9". Wondering if you have any pics of it done and whether I need to send in parts or if I can just bolt it on. Thanks

Ryan

We have what we call a 3ch Retrofit kit but works the same as what we put on our fabricated nine inches. Nothing to send back it comes with a new yoke and a wheel based off of your needs and a sensor mounting bracket.

You will just take your yoke off and use the new one.

The kit is $295 plus shipping.

Thanks guys. Ill get ahold of you later this week. I will probably just send my yoke in. Do I have to look and see what center section I have? Do you stock the parts for it or what is the turnaround time?

It is crazy to think that this thread was started way back in 12-13-2007, 12:36 AM and has 3353 replies with 432,496 views. Most of those replies are from customers thanking us after their purchase. Some customers are on their second or even third rear end purchase for other vehicles. We attribute this to having one of the most efficient rear end packages on the market. We try to go above and beyond to make your purchase down to the install as simple as possible.

We have been pumping out fabricated nine inches for the F-Body platform for a very long time and had some great customer relations over the years. We appreciate everyone's business and if you ever have any questions please feel free to ask as we would be more than happy to help you even if it isn't rear end related.

In 2017 we will continue to offer our layaway program with zero time limit as to when you can pay your purchase off. This has helped hundreds of customer get the rear end they wanted instead of settling for less and we are happy to offer this program.

Thank You From Midwest Chassis.

Awesome stuff in here. I wish I had the time to read through it all! The goal with my car is to be able to do a little of everything. For instance it has the Strano springs with Koni adjustables so I'd like to be able to toss a big tire on it and crank out a couple passes and then swap wheels later on and hit the road course. Jack of all trades, master of none if you will

I think one of these with the weight savings and 3.70 gear ratio can get me closer to my pipe dream

I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger on getting a MWC rear for my T/A. I've only been wanting one for 5+ years now. Had the car at the exhaust shop a couple of weeks ago and was informed that it may be time that I start looking to fix or replace the 10-bolt as it has leaking seals in 3 places. Considering I've had it 15 years now and put over 225k miles on it, I'd say the 10-bolt has done its job.

Only thing I'm waiting on is trying to find some backing plates so that my car isn't down the entire time I'm waiting on the rear end to get here.
