kinda... didn't get a chance to get back to the track after that day, but we did find a huge issue... 5 pounds short on boost, electronic control trans. found out after looking at the data logger that the car would launch at 65% tps. once the boost hit it would taper off to 49% and then slowly climb to 52% for the rest of the run. so yea... going down the track at half throttle. computer was hard to calibrate for shifts due to this. it was caused by a return spring and the boost overriding the traction control actuator. i now have a regular cable on the car and bypassed the tcs, but its too cold to race anymore. sucks! im moving south!

whoa that was a long read

Anyways, a couple things I didn't see answered
So why don't you recommend the aluminum center section for daily driving?

Can we get the torque arm mount like Mightymouse got? If so what are the cost implications? I'd think possibly a discount since there is no T/A to be made.

Why wouldn't you just use his torque arm that is custom made for the rear end and sell off your umi?? what i did, and made the deal even sweeter.

I would think the rear with the mount might cost a little more as its something he has to do 1 off, rather then a torque arm he probably has a jig for a knock out real quick.

There has to be some reasons, he includes his torque arm with the rear, and not a bracket that we could bolt to it, and use out torque arm we already had.

I agree. Definatly so much lighter then my umi unit.
I understand MM situation because if i was sponsered by umi i would gladly keep there parts on my car.

Has anyone used a different breather setup? My breather is leaking and I had someone suggest that I just attatch a fitting in its place with a short hose to a small breather, similar to the small 2" diameter K&N.

Just give him a call. Pleasant to deal with and that's the way you place your order. Hopefully mine's getting started on tomorrow..

Thread a fitting into the axle tube and attach a rubber hose and hang it as high as you can. This is what they do with trucks and SUV's.

Do you have the rear end over filled with oil?

Yea thats what they said to do, just wondering if anyone has done it. I filled it right to the level so no way it was overfilled.

Eric or mightymouse any pics of your exhaust system since I am running the 4L80E and the midwest 9 as well. I am wanting to run 3inch off the header and then back into a Flowmaster collector 3-3.5inch. I have the T/A setup that mounts to the body and it pretty close to the tranny, but I think its still doable on doing a y-pipe design.

If anyone has any pics it would be much appreciated, Ben
