Default Cheapest place to get a custom length driveshaft?

I need to get a custom length 3 inch Steel driveshaft for the Turbo 400 tranny that i'm swappin into my car. I was wonderin where the cheapest place to buy one is, cuz a local place around me wants like $400 plus then more money to make a slip yolk, and I know there has to be somewhere cheaper than that! Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys!

Also does anyone know the length i'm going to need the driveshaft to be for the Turbo 400 in my '99 Z w/ stock 10-bolt rear? Cuz i'd like to order it ahead of time so everything can go in at once, or do I have to wait till it's in and then measure and have to wait?

You're asking the wrong question....a driveshaft is a good place to spend a little cash. Try these guys:
www.dennysdriveshaft.com

Get one of their heavy duty driveshafts...should be right around $350-400 for your application (including yoke and u-joints)...maybe even less. Many people consider them to be the best in the business.
