Default Are these splines acceptable or do I need new axles?

12-bolt Moser 30 spline axle. Driver side. Car weighs 3602lbs with full tank of gas. Passenger side axle looks fine. I am guessing this happend over a long period of time. The car doesn't hit the tires that hard, best short time ever was mid 1.5's. I run ET streets, not full slicks, but I do launch at 4500rpm and up....

Opinions please.

Thanks
Chris

Tough call from the pic. If the splines are not deformed and that's just a wear pattern, I would say you can run them. If the splines are deformed or there are small cracks in them, time for new ones.

I'll have to check for cracks, but they are deformed in a very uniform way. If that makes any sense. In the pic, the lower portion of the splines are twisted, rotated, deformed (take your pick) in relation to the upper portion of the splines (the portion that are engaged in the diff.) Everything appears very uniform. Its not like a few splines are in any worse condition than the rest. I think replacement is in order, just to be safe. Here is a another pic.

Thanks
Chris
