Rear end experts please help. Couple weeks ago I instaled Motive 3:73.
Pinion preload 20 lbs.-in.
Becklash .008
Ring didn't runout more then .0015.
And now when I go 60 mph and up they whine (loud)
but if I let of the throde it's quiet and as soon as I touch throde it whinees.
What I mess up.
Appreciate any help.

Re: Rear end experts please help. 20 inch pounds is correct on old bearings 28 on new did you locktite pinion nut somtimes they come loose other than that prob. incorrect pinion depth did you use a gauge or paint?

Pinion depth was checked with paint wasn't perfect but acceptable compare to patterns included in magazine I have with all passible patterns.
