Default Transmission Problems

Ugh... Got the new transmission in... and now something doesnt feel right.

Something feels like it is hitting against the transmission tunnel when you come to a stop. The car also tends to bog down when you give it some gas coming out of the stop, and acts like it is misfiring.

Any ideas???

Its a new HPA Stage 2 Transmission, and Midwest Torque Converter.

Feels like something is hitting the tunnel? Are you sure the trans mount isn't cracked?

Nope... it's fine.

Had it out with the old transmission.

There were about 1/4 of washers that werent put back in with the crossmember....

I am also wondering if I torqued the bellhousing to the transmission tight enough.

What is the torque spec for the bellhousing to transmission???

All the ones on the bellhousing to motor were fine.
