Re: Tranny fluid question Plain old non-syn Dexron III. Normal oil change by dropping pan is 5 qts. After installing new pan/filter change, add 5 qts and let it idle until up to temp and do the normal check sequence. Unless, of course, you know -exactly- how much the new pan will add to capacity. These trannys are damned sensitive to getting proper level, sometimes.

Tranny fluid question What type does everyone use? I bought a gallon of TCI "racing" tranny fluid (supposed to help keep temps down). Also, I have a pan with two extra quarts coming, so will the gallon be enough? Thanks.
