Broken spider gear Found a spider gear tooth stuck to my cover magnet last Friday. Does anyone offer take-off's, like SLP? Debating on putting a stock posi back in it if I can get it for cheap vs. babying it for another month and putting in the T2R. If it's cheap, I'll get a new reluctor wheel too, as the teeth are scored.
This is, I'll miss another autox event (one I've helped setup, no less).
I only drive this on the street and auto-x, so don't bother with the non-10-bolt resolutions

Re: Broken spider gear So what's involved in swapping this out? Any install dox? How long on a lift?
I also want to put a new reluctor wheel in too - if you can factor that into the install above.

Re: Broken spider gear The reluctor wheel is bolted to the passenger side of the ring gear. In a nutshell, it's part of the equation to determine low traction.
