Superman - It is definitely someone else that you're thinking of because I have NEVER bashed anyone for the converter that they choose to run! This is my 11th aftermarket torque converter in an LS1 and the third manufacturer to try. I will try new stuff as it is released and will always keep an open mind that anything can be improved upon! TCI has really turned their LS1 and LT1 torque converter market around in the last 18 months, and it shows in the performance. I'm LOVING my TCI 3800! What's even better is that the customer service is outstanding. Any problems that our customers have run into have been taken care of immediately. In my opinion, the overall package of performance, cost, and customer service cannot be beat!

They where trying to keep up with the orders that the GP hit them with and dropped the ball on building my CS4200. I called them and the person I spoke to admitted that the problem was on their end, and that they hadn't even built mine yet. He then said he would personally make sure I had one shipped out that day by the end of business. I spoke to him at 9:00am.

The next day....Fed Ex knocked at 12:00pm.

I'm a huge fan of that stuff. In a setting where it seems like everybody wants your money, but doesn't care after that...TCI proved their commitment to me for sure! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I'll have to dig around to find the timeslip. I wasn't too excited to hang onto it after the crazy ride down the track. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> A lazy 11.5 @ 115 MPH doesn't excite you after you've run 11.4's at 116 MPH with stock heads! I'm really anxious to see how it does at the Spring Break Shootout on a great pass now that the tires are tubed and the calipers are clearanced for the weights. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

If I want to downshift @ WOT I just do it manually.
