Moser 9in 3 channel abs problem

then just angle it on the front and back to shape it like \_/....
I am going to try that today once I am positive on procedure.......hopefully my sensor is long enough

I can't say for sure if your rear will be set up ahead of time, but if you get it dialed in prior to installing the rear in the car, it is pretty easy to do it. Bob

Tim called me from Moser yesterday to tell me he is sending you out a new sensor. Tim is a great guy to deal with, does what he says he is going to do. All of the changes and options that are coming out of Moser for these rears are his projects. ABS, the M9 rear, etc. Bob

I just didn't set it up before the axle was installed on car....and it is supposed to be done b4 installation......I pulled axle out and hopefully have is set up right now......multimeter reads between 0 and 100 millivolts depending on how fast i spin axle..........hopefully it is working now

ABS inop is still on
only drove about 5 miles due to other problems, but I believe it should go out quickly
I removed entire axle to make sure I did it right......and checked multiple times........gap is .030" and tip is shaped like \_/
I also checked it with multimeter and got different reading in millivolts depending on how fast I spun yoke (ranging from 0-120 millivolts) ......this sucks
Pics of axle...looks good...but I hate this abs problem

No there isn't, at least not from Moser. The 3rd member requires the proper machining for the space required for the reluctor ring, along with the housing needing the bung for the sensor. It would be expensive to retrofit the ABS option. Bob

The abs in not working.......I am going to finish the car and get it tuned and Tim told me last week that moser would send a call tag for the axle and he would fix it....I was just trying to avoid the downtime.....hopefully the light will go out with some more driving and if not, I'm not worried about it because Tim said he would take care of it.
How can I check abs codes...? I have a diablo predator handheld that I use for diagnostics but it doesn't show anything

This may be RANDOM, but are you running a substantialy larger tire in the rear than the front? If so, your computer is reading the front turning faster than the rear and is throwing the code. Normally this happens on a 4 channel setup, but I have seen it happen on 3's.

I talked to Tim today and he said the sensor is set up right........how can I scan for abs codes and try to narrow this down.....
Abs was functional before I installed 9in so I doubt it is a wheel sensor or something along those lines....but I just want to figure this out

anyone....?
now moser is telling me because multimeter was giving a reading when the axle was spun, that the sensor is set up right......BUT the abs still doesn't work
abs was working perfectly before I installed 9in and now i'm stuck

Hi Michael, it just about has to be something with your wiring harness. I'd check out the connector on the end of it first.
We have done quite a few of them here at the shop without having any problems with them. Bob

It is not the wiring harness.....I removed it...hooked up a AA battery to one side and a multimeter to the other and it showed 1.4 v
Moser should set up axles before they leave the building
