ok, i just had my tranny rebuilt but the 2-3gear seems to slip ONLY when its more than half throttle??? shifts fine otherwise. I read somewhere that there is a vette servo or billet servo that is supposed to take care of the this maybe or at least help it. Anybody know if this is true or where i can get those??
any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Sounds like the valve body was contaminated from the first time the tranny needed to be rebuilt. If the passages were not checked and cleaned you probably are not getting enough fluid to those clutch packs. You might burn them up if you are not careful.
A friend of mine rebields trans. He said it might be a pinched clutch pack "O-ring" Thay are rill timmed .The more gas you give it the more pump pressure the drums sees, if it is pinched or cut any at all it will bypass the the clutch pack and the clutchs are not totally in gauge that maens slippage. Just trying to help .It's just a thought The valve body will couse it to

hey blkws, There are several things that could cause this problem, I don't think its your servo, The band is coming off and the clutch is coming on; on the 2-3 shift. You more than likely have an electrical, hydralic problem. Take it back to the shop and let them work it...sounds like low line pressure...or a leak. Altho a leak will normaly slip on the first part of the clutch apply, then again if the clutch clearance is too large it will act like this. Normally a stuck valve will either work one way or not at all.I hope this helps.
