autozone parts ???? I was thinking of upgrading the slave and master when i do my clutch and was wondering if i could get the later model slave and master from autozone or should i just get it from gm. Just wanted some opinions.
Re: autozone parts ???? I think you'd be better off getting your parts from one of the sponsors. I got my slave from Thunder and it was at my door in 3 days. You might be able to get the parts from Autozone or the like but I guarantee they won't have a clue as to what they are selling you or be any help if you run in to any problems.

Also, GM parts give you the security of knowing things are right, since thats what came on the car. www.gmpartsdirect.com has really good prices on gm parts. That is what I did. Its much cheaper than getting them from a dealer. I would not trust my clutch to AutoZone parts though. Some of their parts are alright, but with something like my clutch, I like to have the security of knowing that I have GM parts.
