What do you think of this setup? 1: TR227/224 .569/.563 112lsa cam
2: Vig3200 Converter and shiftkit w/tranny cooler
3: 3.23 gears (already on car obviously)
4: Other misc stuff.... (cage, valvetrain hardware, good rubber etc....)
The cam is pretty much a definate but I wanted everyones opinion on how well the converter and gears will work with the cams powerband (other mods in sig, stock heads for now.) This seems like a pretty well matched setup to me but I wanted a few opinions before I placed the order.
Note: This will be a street/strip car and I want to maintain good driveability but without sacrificing too much at the track. What does everyone think?

Re: What do you think of this setup? Good combo. I'd leave it be unless your factory gears are whining.
3.73 Gears will give will only give you .1 & 1 mph over your 3.23s. That's been proven many time over by LS1Tech members. Gears do feel SOTP faster, but probably they will also require going with ET Streets with your set-up to get the most out of them.
