twisting axles

I have a 12 bolt strange and found out my axles were twisted ! the rear end has a spool 4.56 richmond gears ,now the car makes close to 500 rwhp 6 spd and is in the low 3000 range for weight .strange did warrenty them but i dont want to go 9 in yet even though it's probally coming ! any one else have the same trouble

I did the same to a 12 bolt, broke the spot welds on the diff. but if you have a new one coming from warranty, id say its a good time to sell that now brand new one and upgrade. was it the housing or the shaft that was twisted?

both shafts were twisted the spline going into the spool was ok the bottom half was of them was twisted........

seems like the cars with spools are twisting them. how many spline axles were they?

if your twisting axle's, upgrade your axles. if your twisting 33 spline axles in a 12 bolt, your going to twist 33 spline axles in a 9 inch. the reason a 9 inch is "better" is because of the extra .125" diameter of the ring gear and some argue the design of the housing.
