arent 8.5" leaf spring? also, im sure the housing is longer. would require a good welder/fabricator to get it to work.

I have a local customer that brought me a 8.5 10 bolt made to fit his LT1 car. The TA mount was brazed on the cast iron and the brackets were taken off of a old 7.5 and rewelded on a 8.5. The tubes were cut to correct length and some Ford stlye ends were installed. So far I have heard the car puts down almost 500 to the tires. No issues yet with the brazing but like everything else it's just a mater of time.
