Re: Rear End Whine my rear has been doing the same thing for about the past 5000 miles it also does it when i go around sharp turns slowly. it did it with my stock 3.23's and also with my 4.10's. i just thought it was my posi.
Re: Rear End Whine C-clips are either in or out no real in between. It's probably just your traction unit leting you know it's working right. If it's a clutch type you can add some friction modifier to help out some.
Re: Rear End Whine hell 02 take it in under warrenty it sounds like someting with gears or ds i also had thatpreblem after replacing my carrier it was a unlubed seal in the back the pumkin and i think the carrier berring
Re: Rear End Whine how many miles are on your rear? Do a rear end service and check for any metal. If all looks good use synthetic gear oil & posi additive. I recommened using FORD posi additve it works great but smells like ****.
