gear question?

gear question? i am looking at getting a 12 bolt rearend but i dont know what gears i want 4.10 or 3.73. what are the pros and cons to each ratio? all i have is hooker lt's, ory, hooker catback, k&n, lid, free ramair mod. thanx ahead for your help 
Re: gear question? Oh, and BTW, consider getting a 9 inch instead of the 12 bolt. Price is about the same, but they are stronger than the 12 bolt, plus you can swap out the punkin' easily for a different ratio. Then you could have the option of running 4.56s on the street, 4.11s on the track, and 2.73 for the Salt Flats! See you there next month for speed week!
