Default Break In for Ford 9 inch!

I picked up my car today and it runs well. There is some noise at certain rpms and alot when i accelerate. They said that once i put 100 to 150 miles on it that it should be significantly reduced. Is this actually happened to other people or am i going to be taking my car back in a week to get it redone? Any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We break in the gears by jacking the rear of the car up and running it in gear at idle for ten minutes, letting it cool and repeating this several times. Next we tell the customer to take it easy of the rear for 500 miles. We have had customers mention that the gears have become quieter with mileage, so it is possible that the noise you are hearing will go away. Bob

Im just wondering is it typical that there is significant noise when i accelerate? It does not really bother me but i just want to know if that is normal.

A little noise is tolerable and I would not think that anything is wrong with it. Bob
