Somehow, I managed to cross thread the very top hole for the bell housing bolt and now I can`t get it started right!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> Do you guys know if there is a attachment for a tap that I could pop on the 3/8" extension and chase the threads on the block side? Or am I probably going to have to drop the trans again? Thanks for any help. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

 

The professional tool mfg's , snap-on, mac etc. do make square drive tap sockets that have an o-ring to hold tap in. I don't know if craftsman & the like make them though?
