Tranny Rebuilt.. New problems...

Tranny Rebuilt.. New problems... Ok, after $700 the front pump is replaced and the tranny is put back together.. Now there is a new problem...
With the car on jackstands, I have reverse, and I have 1st.. The problem is it will not shift. I have not taken it above 4k since it is on stands.. The speedometer does not work now... Could all this be related to the speed sensor? Any way to test it before I replace it?
I am getting really sick of this crap...

Re: Tranny Rebuilt.. New problems... Hey 99taw, Computer has to see speed before it will shift, make sure it is plugged in ...disconnect and re connect it. If you still don't have speed-o pop a new speed sensor in there. I hope this helps.
Re: Tranny Rebuilt.. New problems... If you really want to run 200mph, do yourself a favor and pull the outside rearview mirror assemblies, switch to skinny tires and lower the car.
You'll get more benefit from those than a considerable amount of horsepower. Wind resistance is enemy #1 at 200mph.
