In a six speed car?.....yes, obviously depending on what "streetable" means to you. You have to re-learn how to drive around corners to keep it from bucking/surging when it unlocks. I've got a locker in both of my vehicles (both manuals) and it scares the crap out of passengers if I don't have the clutch pushed in when the rear unlocks.

A lot of times a spool is much more drivable than a locker. I've driven a lot of cars with spools on the street, and you won't even know you have a spool until you turn a sharp corner. A spool is lighter and cost less, and it would be the one I would go with. Bob
