Moser 12 bolt PROBLEMS (Torque arm) Iam putting in my new Moser 12 bolt and Iam having problems with my BMR torque arm it will not line up with the holes! iam so frustrated with this does anybody know how I can make this work out???? Iam also having problems finding the right 3 inch exhaust clamps I bought some at Napa and they where not working they are not wide enough for the bushings?? is there some other clamps that i can use for this?? These are the only things holding me up from getting my car on the road. All feedback is needed at this time. thanks....Benny
It is best to align the torque arm before putting the rear up in the car, although it can be done after the rear is installed, it just takes longer. It may require a little grinding on the torque arm to get it to fit, some do and others don't.
As far as the U Clamps go, you need to hog out the holes in the bottom brackets to get the clamps to fit. Bob

How do you HOG out the holes ???.......BB
beat it with a hammer, its too narrow..least it was for my 9in, as far as your Torque arm, try bolting it up to the rear first then the mount...Mine was a bitch but i have a Tunnel mount UMI, I think it took me about 5hrs to get that damn thing lined up and bolted

When I installed my 12 bolt I took the bracket off of my BMR TA and installed it on the 12 bolt outside the car. Then I just lined up the rod ends while installing the rear. Worked like a charm for me and I installed my Strange 12 bolt by myself.

+1 this is the easiest way, just make sure you can clear the tunnel with the bolts before you put the back up

When I installed my 12 bolt I took the bracket off of my BMR TA and installed it on the 12 bolt outside the car. Then I just lined up the rod ends while installing the rear. Worked like a charm for me and I installed my Strange 12 bolt by myself.

That's exctly what i did with mine.Them for the clams i went to a muffler shop to buy a biger one.One thing that happened to me was when i drove the car for like a week the bolts that hold the torque arm to the rear end loose them out,i used looktite selant i did everything to tigth them up but problem continued.So i tigth them up and them put a welding point to each bolt.Poblem solved:-)
