RAM 402 PP users inside please... First of all, the spec isn't holding up well to 6500 rpm dumps with the slicks on. However, I like the drivability of the spec. Is the Ram unit comfortable on the street? How much more pedal pressure do you experience? And finally, which master are you using? Thanks in advance guys
Re: RAM 402 PP users inside please... I've been running the 402pp and 6130 disk for over a year now in my daily driver. The pedal pressure is more than stock, but not bad at all. In heavy stop and go driving, it can get noticable. But both my legs are still the same same size <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> so it can't be that bad. It's nowhere near as hard to push as some LT1 clutches I've tried. I went to the 402/6130 setup after a Cartek clutch, so I don't have a back to back impression from the stock.
I'm using a stock master modified to be adjustable.
BTW the 402/6130 setup held many 6600rpm dumps on slicks for me.

Re: RAM 402 PP users inside please... I ran a 402/6130 with Mcloud master for 1500 miles.Got really sick of driving it in traffic.Peddle was too hard for my taste.

Lonslo i got the ram 402 PP 980 disk, billit steel fly wheel and futral motorsports adj master all here at the appartment just waiting to be installed, if you wanna come check the stuff out your more then welcome and once i get the clutch in the car you can take it for a spin.

will the RAM 402 pressure plate work with my SPEC stage three ceramic disc? currently, i have stock pressure plate, but clutch pedal sticks to the floor after a 1/4 mile pass with ET streets.
i also have stock 2002 master cylinder; will that work with the RAM 402pp?

Re: RAM 402 PP users inside please... 402PP and 910 disc here. Using the adjustable master and 2001 slave (Ram 910 VDS setup with hydraulics from Mike at Rapid Motorsports). Pedal pressure is more than my stock 2000 was, but now its about what it should be. My stock pedal was very soft. The 910 is a bit grabby, but surprisingly compliant on the street with a little practice. Chatter is there, but slight. Very nice setup IMO.
