firehawk rearend ok guys i got a ? i have a 01 10th anniversary firehawk i was wondering about my rearend is it a 8.5 and if so can i use some 4.10 richmond gears on it??? plz anybody let me know

Re: firehawk rearend dude... slp doesn't make some magical special rear end. It's a 7.5 10 bolt, just like the rest of us. You can use any of the gears meant for the 10 bolt rear end sold by the sponsors.
Re: firehawk rearend And, if you've got the Auburn, it's WEAKER than the Torsen. Especially if you're a drag racer.... Best wishes, though. BTW, step up and buy GENUINE GM gears for your 7.5 10 bolt. WJ.

If you have the AAM cover does that indicate the Auburn.
Different years had a different option like,1 year Auburn was standard and torsion was optional and vise versa throughout the years.This was SLP's way of bending people over.
