help me guys!!!! well i was shifting fast into 4th being a dumba$$ trying to see how good i could spin them, well as soon as i went into 4th i heard a very loud clunking noise, i have no idea what it was but traction control was on, so i dont know if it was traction comming on and i just got traction and that was what the noise what or what, but it was very loud, 4th gear seems fine but i just dont know, my warrany runs out in 1000 miles so if there is anything else this might be please let me know!!

Re: help me guys!!!! well i might sound like more of a moron but i did a burnout at work and everything seemed to be working fine, checked the rear end fluid and its not black same with transmission fluid, draveshaft seems to be intack and same with everything else. im thinking because the tires griped really good really fast. someone say something so i dont worry, or what i should worry about ! thanks,haha

Re: help me guys!!!! were u powershifting or were u using the clutch when u were shifting? i can tell ya that if you've checked over the car and everything seems ok since you've driven it then it should be ok for now, but you might of caused stress on the drive train that could cause problems later, this is one of those if i was with ya when it happened i could help ya more, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> dont worry bro i think your car is ok just take it easy, a car is only as strong as its weakest link, dont mess around unless you can afford to, thats how i look at it, peace <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Re: help me guys!!!! i was using the clutch when i was shifting, i called the dealer and they said cause my tires had some water on them it might have slipped really good on that spot put caught really good traction when it hit the dry part. it like jerked the whole drive train it felt like. i think it was just tires grabbing, but what could it have messed up? if anything
