Default never heard of this happening

the suspension in the rear started acting funny

so i jacked it up to inspect everthing...

and the section of the rear end where the panhard bar bolts to it is just about
cracked all the way off

so my rear end housing is trashed

all freash bearings and with 4:10's only 1k miles ago

Any chance of looking for a shop that can weld it back on? Definetly a manufacter defect that got by quality on the assembly line. Maybe even take it to a dealer or contact GM customer service.

its like split across the middle, the metal is ripped and seperated

all the suspension is stock right now, any ideas how it got caused?

Has the car been in an accident? I've never seen anything like that ever happen but I'm sure it can be fixed.

nope, never a wreck.

and i had stripped the whole rear end for painting and there wasnt any signs of a weak spot
or cracking.

ive just never heard of that breaking and if the car has good power ive only seen people
tear up the housing.

just put in a 383 lt1 mildly built only has around 350 or so hp due to stock heads and a small cam with a a4
