Whiner here...
i first had 2:73's-no whine... the second i went to 3:73's i got the whine with stock torque arm...
i then went with a different complete housing 3:42 setup from a 6-speed and that too whined but with the addition of a UMI g-force brace mounted adjustable torque arm... the 3:42's were going bad so i ditched them...
i now have a factory 3:23 rearend from a 2001 ws6 that whines... whining stops when in nuetral or stopped (duh!)...
would incorrect pinion angle create whine although i adjusted the angle to 0 degrees?
would a bottle of additive take the whine away? i don't want to break this rearend yet...
