Default Torque arm question...

I'm currently running Heads and Cam 02 SS 6-spd. Putting down 430RWHP. STILL on stock rear, but just broke my torque arm all to pieces. Who'd of guessed. Problem is I want to find a GOOD adjustable torque arm to bolt back up, and it still needs to fit a Strange or possibly Mosier 9" rearend when I purchase one of those. Do they all fit back up to the stock location on the rearend? Should I get a tranny crossmember to relocate the new torque arm? I am not finished with this car by any means and want it built to last. How is SLP's Torque arm, a lot of whats on my car is SLP now. Thanks so much!

If you are serious about doing a TA and a rear Id look at Moser's new 9" that comes with a TA...Im sure someone can post a pix and has a part number...check with a sponsor but I've seen one at Performance Auto Fab and its a beefy looking piece...It even comes with a new trans cross member to fit the trans of your choice..

This is what you are referring to.

For a torque arm that will work with the 10 bolt for now, as well as down the road with an aftermarket rear, the BMR trak pak is the one I would go with.

I have a BMR Adj. Tq. Arm and it's fits like a glove with my Strange 12 bolt. High quality piece and well worth the $$.

Hey Exotic, whats missing from this package on that site? The $1,800 dollar rearend. Am I missing something? How come it's so much cheaper than what I'm used to seeing? The "regular" rearends on the site are $2,500. This ones 1800 AND comes with the torque arm? Im lost or missing something?

Wil def check into the BMR Trak Pak also....

The $1,800 dollar rear starts out as the housing, axles, torque arm and trans cross-member. Then you option for whatever center section you want. Bob

I'm quite happy with my UMI stuff. It'd be worth giving them a call.
