Default is this normal for 4.10s??

I got motive 4.10s installed, broke them in really gently! finally drive normal and notice horrible whine above 2.5rpm
heres the problem:cruise control on 70mph is still 1500rpm just like the stock gears were! I thought you should cruise at higher rpms in a m6 with 4.10s!
Did they put in 3.73 and tell me I got 4.10 or something?

All this on top of being shipped the wrong gears at the start(previous thread)!

You need to make your gear change with your Predator now to correct your spedometer.
3.42 at 1500rpm= 71mph
4.10 at 1500rpm= 59mph

Yep, at 70, I'm cruising right around 1900 rpms with my 4.10s. Need to change that speedo pronto, or expect to see more birds in the future!

It shouldnt be a horrible whine. When mine were new, you could only hear the slightest whine while accelerating. They are slightly louder now, but they cant be heard over a light radio volume. Take it back and get them re-adjusted. Weird how pros

Okay, recalibrated my speedo for 4.10 with diablo....exact same result?!?
driving on highway 70 mph and 1.5rpm and everyone is going the same speed as me!
WTF I think I paid to have my original gears taken out, beat with a hammer and put back in at wrong depth

Ok... with the Predator, what did you do to get the speedo recalibrated? I hope you didn't just put it on 4.10s and left it alone... that won't work with the current version of the Predator.

You have to set the Predator to a certain tire size to get the speedo right... go to www.runninwiththedevil.com and look under "FAQs." The chart is at the bottom of the page...

You should be able to tell that the car has a different ratio in it. I could tell immediately.
