Oh yes, very true and Moser's customer service is 90% of the time, UNHELPFUL!

I've had both the Strange and the Moser in my car...both where bought new...The Strange was completely assembled by Strange and Bolted in...it howled like crazy form the first 100 yards...I called Jeff Stange...nice guy...sent it back. Bought a Moser 12 bolt in kit form and had the ring gear pinion professionally set-up. Slight whine between 55-65 mph...not bad...kept it...the Moser housing is stronger than Strange in my opinion. Both good units...neither company has great QC on ring gear pinion set-up for low noise....both are easy bolt ins....

I'm happy for you. It's too bad that after all the hard earned money (at least in my case) spent on these rears, that the most common problem is the nuts and bolts of the set up.

From everything I've read about these, I'll be ordering an incomplete axle package. Shoot you can get the axle housing and axles for $1200. I'll buy my gears and posi unit elsewhere and set it up myself. I've done a few 10 bolts, so its time to step up

Moser sells them for $1230 and Strange for $1200 direct. After you price everything out, I'll end up saving about $200 setting it all up myself.

MyMoser whined like the devil, its a nice unit but they can't set a rear up worth a crap. They say they favor the toe, but i received a new set of gears( Direct from Moser) from a friend and had them set up PERFECT No whine at all now granted it took 4.5 hrs but it was worth the case of beer and the gear marking grease..

i just ordered a moser 12 bolt with a 4.10 gearing.. Unsure if the shop is setting it up or moser..

The shop is a dealer so I told him to order the rear up and spare no expense.

We shall see.
