Strange N1922 pinion support
On the Strange Engineering website it says that the n1922 aluminum pinion support is designed for drag racing but not for continuous use... so would that mean it's bad if I have to drive 30 miles to the track?
Who else has a 9" with this support?

Not sure which part number was on mine, but I did call Joe at Strange and question him about street usage and he said as long as its the "Daytona" style support, its fine for street use. Apparently the race support has a smaller pinion bearing and reduced oiling all for less friction.
I looked at the pics of my support in my 9" thread and its a 1917... on it. I will try to verify which one I have for sure and let you know.
I definetly questioned the same thing you are thinking and thats why I called Strange on it.
