is this possible

is it possible to get a 12 bolt out of a truck and install it in the car? cuz i no about the torque arm so is it possible or not? and wat needs to be done to do so?

anything is possible, yuo would need to do a lot of fabricating

frabricating wouldnt be a problem but lik i ask wat about the torque arm mount? also will the axles need to be shortened?

truck 12 bolt it has no torque arm mounts, shock loactions are different, no coil spring perches, no panhard bar mount, axle tubes are a different diameter, axle tubes are a different length, axles are a different diamater, axles are a diffrent length, there is no ABS set up for a 3 channel, 4 channel would be possible, but backing plates wont mount.

so i should just forget this idea and just pray on the 10 bolt until i can afford a new rear which will be awhile

do what i do, grab a spare 10 bolt for a back up, worst case you will be one of those dudes sitting by the entrance booth at raceway waiting for AAA to come get ya

12 bolt truck housings also have a smaller head pinion bearing and a different gear set than a car housing uses. The head pinion bearing are close to the same size as the 7.625 10 bolts.
