who lost ET/MPH by going from 10 bolt rear end with 373 to 12 bolt 373 in A4

The difference in the ET caused by the difference in efficiency and weight between the two would be measured in hundreths, not tenths.

Actually I dropped by times. I can now launch on 28" ET Drags at 5800 rpm's everytime without worring about leaving the rear-end at the line

You can be more aggressive with launch when your not worried about your rearend fragging. Whatever you lose on a dyno, is non exsistent at the drag strip. Least thats the way I see it.

i actually ran better going to the 12bolt w/3.73's over the 10bolt w/3.42's. i lonched both at 2,500rpm's just to see. now my 12bolt sees 5,ooo + rpm's
