2010 camaro reverse light removal
as the title states. im trying to figure out the safest way to remove the reverse lamp housings to get them smoked along with my tail lamps. the only way seems to be to completely remove the rear bumper. well i tried that with zero luck. the corners of the rear bumper right by the tailights seem to be riveted to the car itsself. if anyone has a bumper cover removal procedure i would greatly appreciate it.

You are correct that the rear facia has to come off. To do so you have to remove the rear wheelhouse liners and remove the bolt (1 on each side) at the front corners. Then from there you have a series of clips to release by pulling the cover towards you away from the car starting with the sides. Be carefull not to tear or crack the plastic. a nylon wedge and suction cups would help alot if you can get your hands on them. Good luck.

well the rear bumper covers off. ended up coming off pretty easily. now for the 4 day turnaround on the lights. i will post the pics after its done. just couldnt stand seeing those bright *** backup lamps in the rear bumper looking out of place. figure having them smoked would disguise them better

a smart guy would make a molded paintable clip in cover to make it less noticable. Someone will make one...... theres definitely enough interest. I know I dont care for the reverse lights.

How do I remove the reverse lights they went out
Anyone have pics or instructions on how to replace the reverse lights on a camaro 2010. They are not turning on, I also want to hook up a bar light at the bottom and need to get to them to connect it.
