I'm with this guy, the second I see a pumped up audio system I see weight. I mean the RX-7 in Fast and Furious (the decent one they started with) looked bad, but was a mid fourteen second car cause of all the weight they added.

No, they had NAWWWWWWWWSSSSSS. It was easily a 10 second car w/ 400+ pounds in 3/4" MDF. DUH

The straight on frontal view looks pretty good. As for the other angles, I didn't realize it was possible to take a car that looks so nice from the factory and turn it into something so hideous...

404ci modern muscle stroker

-Callies Compstar Rods
-Diamond -28cc pistons
-ARP hardware
Mast motorsports medium bore heads
Mast motorsports VVT cam
The only Vortech V7-Ysi blower on a 5th gen period.
-pullied for approximately 18psi
Labonte Motorsports digital methanol injection
Bowler 6L80E transmission
Driveshaft shop 1000hp axles
Monster Baer brakes
Pedders XA extreme suspension package

We're obviously shooting for the holy grail of a 9 second ET. GM was pretty much guaranteed to see 1000bhp (approximately 850rwhp). This is one of 8 dollar Camaros awarded this year.

The suspension alone has been show to pull past 1.2g skidpad. This thing will go fast, stop fast, and carve up corners.
Justin what the meaning of.......''QUOTE''

This is one of 8 dollar Camaros awarded this year.

I never heard of this.............mabey because I live in an eggloo... lol lol

Thanks Tony

Holy crap I know this guy! And Tony - GM (and many other manufacturers for that matter) will give away or sell vehicles for $1 to guys like Rick - with stipulations. Also mentioned earlier was the 1000 bhp goal, I'm guessing that was one of the stipulations. They do all the custom work, often with sponsors help, and have to take it to SEMA and any other shows Chevy wants them to. Then, after a year, he does what he pleases with the car!

This car was actually bought at the same dealership I bought my car at... It started out as a white 2ss/rs if I'm not mistaken. Weirdest thing is it's a small town of about 7000 people, and this guy has always got the coolest **** running around town!

Well, at least I've still got the only IOM around, and methinks I'll wait around for the next 8 months or so and scavenge that engine!

YOu know I was not real crazy about the body kit at first. Body kits are not my style but this car has a fat look to it because of the body kit and it gives it an aggressive look. You can see there was alot of detail put into this car and it does look good.

Nice job.
