Only the early 5th Gen TR6060's have this issue, there is a TSB out on it, stock cars are having the same issue using launch control, hell I'm running mid 10's & have been in the 10's since around December, well over 200-250 passes on the tranny before it finally tore up. They did a redesign to rectify the situation. There is no problem with the G8 TR6060's or the Vette TR6060's, just the early release camaro ones. I think that it has to do with needing to add another support bearing, my understanding is that Tremec recommended to GM to add the another bearing, but GM stuck with the original design, but that's just all hearsay. They don't have the parts to fix the old tranny's, they just change them out.

Yep 2007 and 2008 Shelbys had a bad fly wheel that would warp causing clutch drag and 2nd gear syncro damage. Ford replace my fly wheel with new design and replaced the clutch and tranny under a TSB.

Thanks I have one but have not installed it yet. I also have new pulleys too but don't want to go over 850 whp. So it looks like I have to be conservative with the NANO pills size. Thanks for the information.
