Default Bolt-ons dynoed.

As the pic shows I still have my paper plates. Had the 1LE tuned after installing Stainless Power 1 7/8" headers w/ off-road extensions, SLP UDP, and my semi- custom Spectre/UPR cold air intake. Dyno Jet (SAE) smoothing: 5, bone stock vs bolt-ons and tune.

Impressive, did you post your results in that thread on Camaro5 where some folks were in disbelief that the 1LEs dyno that strong with bolt-ons? Your results are right in line with the other guys who saw similar gains.

Yeah, posted on Camaro5. I can't wait for it to turn into a battle of the superior cold air induction kits. Lol!

Nice gains! But why skimp on the intake?

That's what many people will think. I have personally seen hundreds of dyno runs and as usual the first mod everyone makes on their shiny new toy is a cold air kit. I have never seen more than a few hp (less than 5 hp) difference between any cold air kit, no matter how expensive or "well engineered". I'd rather put the $200-$400 I saved into something else, ie. more mods or table dances.

Yep. Only other bolt-ons i haven't done are a ported throttle body and X-pipe (more for sound than any hp gain).

Don't know if you're are joking or not but that's pretty damn good. I'd be happy with 1/2 that.

I have a 14 1LE with CAI and Bo ported TB and SP headers with HF cats ,and plan on getting a Nick D dyno tune in July . I don't think it will get more then 410 RWHP with the heat and weasel **** 91 octane gas we have in Phoenix . Anyone have any bolt on numbers with 91 octane in hot climates ?

Got my throttle body ported, a week ago, by a member here that has done a few in the past for me. I still can't get over how such a simple, cheap mod makes the car so much more responsive and picks up hp. Will have to go dyno again just to see the difference, it feels a bit faster seat of the pants dyno.

I have given a lot of thought on getting a v max ported throttle body and a ctach can for my next two mods just wasn't sure the v max would deliver any gains at all and just started modding my 2010 Camaro ss ls3 m6, vararam tune model induction, kooks long tube headers with high flow cats and tuned by hinson motor sports was very blown away by the number 438.7 rwhp and 434.6 rwqt. I would be more than happy to install the v max if I didn't have to retune and it delivered half of what I have heard. just didn't know if its hype or rear world gains
