Lt4 and lt1 dod afm delete needed?

Lt4 and lt1 dod afm delete needed? Guys, I know this has probably been answered. I searched and couldn’t find anything. If I get a true lt1 or true lt4 does it have to have a dod or active fuel management taken out of the motor. I’m putting on in a 69 Camaro I have. If anyone can suggest some headers and other swap parts that would work good for a reasonable price please let me know. I have my swap gas tank already. I don’t need one of those anymore. Thanks in advance guys for the help.
