Are you still on the stock tune? Either way, a 12 flat, in 2900 DA, with just a few bolt-ons is damn impressive.

Either way very nice!!!
Id like to see more on this as well.

My Goat weighs 3,580 with 5gal of fuel, spare and jack removed, full exhaust and a 9.5'' converter. All other weight is there, A4 car. 3,770 race weight. I was under the impression that the curb on bone stock 5thGens is 3,900~ or so.

Either way nice runs in crap D.A. 11s all day if you can hook in mine shaft air. +1 on driver mod launch and vicious 60'ft. Anything done to the suspension?

P.S. I would consider FULL boltons to include an aftermarket or ported stock intake and TB, and UDP.

The car was tuned the day after he purchased it.

It did run a 12.09 at 114 last night with the traction control on.

Nothing is pulled out of the car to save weight only change the wheels on the front and back. With the stock wheels and tires it weighs around 3850 ish. Most of the weight savings came from the headers ,exhaust and air intake that removed a combined total of 45 lbs.

Stock untouched suspension. The tb porting wouldnt gain enough to speak about and a UDP is not going on it. No reason to port the stock intake if FAST is going to sell a intake for it in the next few months.

very nice runs! except that car isnt full bolt ons.

if you take it to mustang full bolt on specs ( strip interior, delete a\c, power steering, replace entire suspension) you'd run 10's in a bolt on 2010!

Nice run. I'm confused about the weight. If an SS weighs around 3950 lbs and your raceweight with driver was 3750 - assuming a 200 lbs driver. Where did you lose about 400 lbs??

Also figuring 15% drivetrain loss you must be making around 500 HP at the motor to put down 425 to the wheels. So you gained 75 HP with air intake and exhaust mods? I'm not accusing you of lying but that just sounds extreme.

Please elaborate!

Sounds like it has a nice tune to me...but I don't know squat about how much power the new motors make.
