Best luck is practice at about 3K to 3.5K and use a quick clutch slip. Its a fine line between bog, spin and wheel hop. I was bone stock and used 3K and worked fairly well.

It is a very very fine line. On stock Pirelli's I had to burn the clutch out of the hole. That resulted in a 1.9 60'. With Nitto's I'm thinking between 3.5-4K. I ran a 1.8 60' in a friends cammed LS3 on a Nitto but I feel with more seat time a low 1.7-high 1.6 is possible.

I tried slipping the clutch, this resulted in my clutch staying an inch off the floor for a 1/4 mile..Smoked it on that run,60' times were horrible 2.2s my best .

There is also a real fine line between spinning and baking the clutch till it stick to the floor.
