Default What should it run? 418 stroker

I built a 418 stroker, Lloyd Elliot portwork to the heads, cam is a Comp .595/.608 lift, 232/240 duration on a 113 lobe separation. Circle D 3000 stall. What do you guys figure it will run down a 1/4 mile? Assume these times with drag radials.

Never got dyno readings, just a good tune. It runs like a raped ape, just we haven't run it on dr's. The few passes we got at a track, the timing system was not working and we fried the tranny. I am guessing with drag radials mid-low 11's based on what I find from other builds. Just not sure if I will find out, my customer doesn't look too enthusiastic about heading to the track again after frying the tranny, LOL. That night we ran against a boss 302 that runs 11.7's, it took us half track but the Camaro caught up in the end. That's why I figure with traction it should perform well.

I would say low 11s with DR's, this would be on 20s right. With a drag wheel and tires setup I would say 10s pretty easy. The big wheels and stiff short sidewall drag radails are still going to be a crutch. But from what I have seen I would guess low 11s.

A purpose built setup like that should be in the 10s. People are breaking into 11s with just bolt ons.

What CR are you running with that stroker? I think real low 11s is realistic.. with full bolt ons and suspension work done you should get into the 10s

Edit: oops i just realized you're in a vette not a camaro, i think you're in the wrong forum lol.. and 10s real easy

Oops, I just realized I didn't state it was a 2010 Camaro. Nevermind the cars listed, those are my personal vehicles, the Camaro belongs to a customer. We are going to give it a blast on 18 inch drag radials and see what it can do. On it's maiden voyage the track timing system was not working and we were on stock tires. We gave a few shake down runs and raced it against a Boss 302 with headers/tune and slicks, which runs mid 11's. The Boss took it half track and at about half track the SS began catching up quick to almost tie at the finish line. So my guess is with traction, it should do easy low 11's. By the way the tranny got fried two days after that visit to the track. Tranny is built, just waiting on retuning, ( trans does some wierd flare up between 3-4 shift ). I will post a times once we get it done. Thanks for the input.

A mild stroker should run low 11s pretty consistantly in a 10' camaro
