I've always wondered where all the chatter is in the 5th gen forum here. All models of GM stuff well represented in the sections here and 5th gen is just flat dead when I look from time to time.

Found this site before the other one, but it didn't have the "it" that I was looking for when I was trying to research what could be expected from the 5th Gen. Lurked forever and never saw a real reason to sign up. When stuff started going sideways on the other site, I figured I better give this one another shot, now all the cool guys are doing it.

Been on here for awhile when I had my 98 Z28. Still trolled occasionally after I got my SS but the 5th gen section was dead. Prefer this site 100x to C5. This site is actually informative. Not the typical "will this void my warranty" ****. Im 376LS3 on C5 btw.

I signed up about the same time on both sites when I bought my car a few years ago. Like others have said, the 5th gen section on here was a little slow, so I was forced to sift through the bullshit on the other site. I hadn't been on the other site for a couple months when I noticed people showing up over here. Glad to see things livening up a bit

I've been here a long time, but i'm a new 5th gen owner. Camaro5 is very useful for cosmetic questions, build number questions, and "fluff" like that, but it's a joke for any hardcore engine type stuff. I go on there daily, but mostly skim it. It's insane how much money that place charges to advertise too. Cash cow with a sheep following.

Checking in....been at Ls1tech a while and like most, this place was flat and gravitated to C5, looks like this will be the place to be.....suxs over there now, unfortunately....

I think we will need more folks over to really promote discussion here but we are going the right direction. Bring up topics and discuss here with new threads...it will help grow the following for the 5th gens.

C5 to LS1 Tech... Checking in. Came over from C5, don't have any issues with it, just outgrown it somewhat although I check in there every day. I agree there is a little to much fluff to sift through over there.

Crossing from C5 like a lot of you it appears. I need some meat with my potatoes, that place for the most part has become far from ingenuous. I have lurked here for a while, let's see where we go from here. I hope it can prosper for us 5th Gen lovers. Do we have a place just for 5th Gen build threads here?
