z06 rims/wheels on a new camaro

z06 rims/wheels on a new camaro I have an almost-new set of 17x9.5 rim/wheel set that I bought from oewheels. I was wondering if they would fit on a new (2012) V6 camaro? The guy at oewheels said the z06 offset was 54mm, but the new camaro offsets are 45mm - could I use a spacer? Worth the trouble, and has anyone ever tried it?
