Any issues with using these on the street? I have a 50 mile trek each way to the strip and I'm curious if they can handle the punishment of freeway driving on shitty roads.

It's a skinny on the road...gotta watch potholes and stuff. All of the ratings are right and the mustang guys have streeted the heck out of them. All that being said...I have 20" forgestars for the street days.

Ran skinnies for a good 8 years between 2 cars.Never had an issue,as long you don't try to outrun a Z06 Vette on a highway exit.
I can almost say that our roads are worse than your roads in SoCal.
You just need to remind yourself that it handles a little different than the stock 20".

Just need to run wheels and tires that will hold up to street driving. So no Bogarts and VW tires.

VW tires oops (PSJ 2002):

3 hours later yay!

In case you have not heard, Weld just released three new versions of the RTS wheels. Worth checking out.

Thanks. No plans to get crazy on the streets with them, just want to be ok driving to/from the track without having to pack a tire change and all the crap to do it.

I'm a little foggy on this but does NHRA require open-end lugs?

No idea on the 18's lip, next time I'm around one I'll measure.
