MSD Digital Window Switch?

MSD Digital Window Switch? I have a question on wiring the MSD Digital Window Switch PN#8969. The instructoins for the white wire " Signal input. Provides the trigger sigal from a tach input, +5-12 volt signal from an ignition tach output signal terminal, ECU or coil negetice terminal". So im a little conused on where to connect this wire to anybody with experience please help
