Default 2010 L99 Dyno Numbers

Well I dynoed my car again today to wrap up the tuning. Been playing with the vvt some, and I am happy with the numbers. Temp was 76* and humidity was 99%. 4th gear (1.15 ratio) unlocked converter. Dynomite dyno. Mods are in sig. I actually picked up about 10 rwtq and 5-6 rwhp vs the tune I was running when I ran 12.4. Not bad for headers and cai!

378.5 rwhp, 395.4 rwtq

Nice.

Do you have a stall converter or are you still running the stocker?

I also don't recall any 4th gens making 370 rwhp with bolt-on's. OP, those are great times, a stall will be good for very low 12's.

Well I wanted to update my thread since I just finished my cam install. I had gotten my car to 388.2 with only lts, cai and ss3200 as my mods. With the cam swap (which I retained VVT and deleted AFM), It put down 457.5. This cam loves rpm, peaked at about 6750.

Removed crash supports, and just accumulated reduction from the headers, different converter, different air intake, no sway bar in front, and at the track no rear seats or pass seat.

Well I milled an 8* angle on my throttle body to mimic what vararams power wedge does. On my 92 octane tune it bumped up to 463.

Now for the good part. I set up an E85 tune.
474rwhp 417rwtq unlocked in 4th.

My car runs 12.40s using the VVT system. Its a L99/LS3 hybrid. I tuned the cam so its 9 degrees advanced at 2000 to 3000 then goes 6 degrees advance on the converter at 3500rpm then progressively retards to 3 degrees retarded by 7500rpm. My engine never stops pulling all the way to 7500rpm. With a 232 242 .620 .620 on a 113lsa cam I am making the same TQ at 1500 to 2500rpm as the stock engine. No loss in low end TQ and a 40hp gain upstairs. Its the best of both worlds!

If you know how to tune the cam calibrations in the ECM along with the phaser there is big power to be had. You have to modify and advance the Phaser unit to give a max sweep of 10-12 degrees then just calibrate the "Camshaft Base Angle" tables in the ECM.

Stock converter feels like it's a 1500-1700 somewhere in there, I'm curious too.
