Is it just me or...

Does almost every computer rendered image of a would-be 5th gen firebird/ta look a little bit better than this camaro we are about to get???

No it's not just you, they do look good.

But they are just that, computer generated renderings.
Computer generated/photoshopped photos of females often look better than the average middle aged housewife as well but that still doesn't make them better in bed.

Well I am certainly VERY impressed by it, I just also happen to like the looks of some of these 'Pontiac version' photoshops.

seriously, they need to use that chassis and at least make a g8 coupe - it really wouldn't be unrealistic

I'm gonna have to disagree with you a little on that. 1 the female thing isn't a totally legit comparison, and 2 you can't tell me with all the technology that GM possesses that they couldn't use some of those renderings to come up with a great looking pontiac brother. e.

I like most of the Pontiac renderings, but I don't think GM wants to create any extra competition for the Camaro. They don't need a repeat of the 4th gens (Camaro and Firebirds combined) getting out sold by the Mustang 2 to 1.
