it's a V8 model there is no mistaking that !
that had the LS2 in it though remember? Scott told us that and explained that would not be the production engine for the 5th gen but wouldn't elaborate on what would. Now we know its even better!

Seet when my dad buys his v-6 to do the ls9 swap, i will be ahppy to put that engine in my Fiero! It will fit it very well and it will be plenty fast! Even with the gtp engine it runs 13's and that a significant amount of power over my current gtp 3800

Agreed! What to people expect from a V6 exhaust? Listen to any V6 pony car to compare. This one does sound better under load (accelerating) that's for sure. But I guess sound like everything car related is becoming beyond opinionated! I hear the same people bash Camaros and Vettes, praise the exhaust note on a Viper, and believe that Shelby Mustangs are fast!?!?!#@@!$#@!

Wait a minute, wasn't the Shelby supposed to be comparable to Z06...nope, not even close. 500KR making the ZR1 scared...when do I get to stop laughing at this ridiculous claims already!

I don't care how many cylinders an engine has, V8s aren't the only thing that can sound cool. I think it'd be cool with some boost. With the direct injection, overhead cams, variable valve timing, all aluminum construction and 300 horses, I think it's possible we'll see some of the import guys taking a shine to the American market. Not to mention the independent rear suspension. I'm not talking ricers, but tasteful fellows who're into the gadgetry. Personally, I find the base Camaro incredibly impressive. Look at all the technology you're getting in a BASE pony car.

Sounds good for a lowly six banger.
